ECOGROUP Construction economics The Archigroup group of architects employs 40 people including 14 architects and last September it created a subsidiary dedicated specifically to construction economics. "Works estimates, drawing up specifications and cost analysis are among our skills", explains Grégory Sierra at the head of Ecogroup. He is currently the only employee of the subsidiary and may be joined by two or three colleagues by 2006. The company occupies the same premises as Archigroup in the mixed-development zone (ZAC) Sans Souci at Limonest, and receives a large part of its work from the Archigroup offices. "Archigroup sends me the project files and Ecogroup follows in the wake of the parent company while it works on becoming an independent entity in its own right.
